Your personal information will not be shared with any external parties unless required by law, necessary for the performance of a contract, or in our legitimate interests (such as fraud prevention). Where we share data with third parties, this will be limited to trusted partners including referencing agencies, financial institutions, and legal advisors.
- For preventing and detecting fraud and money laundering. We are required by law to check the identity of our new customers. This makes it more difficult for criminals to use the financial system and to use false names and addresses, or the identities of innocent people. Checking identity is an important way of fighting money laundering and other criminal activities. If false or inaccurate information is provided, details will be passed to fraud prevention agencies.
You will be asked to sign a form saying that you give permission for your personal details to be given in the above circumstances only. We will not sell your personal information.
